“As one of the few Canadian family owned and operated resorts in Canada, this award speaks volumes to the commitment our team has to providing a stellar resort experience,” said Peter Plimmer, President and CEO of Big White Ski Resort Ltd. “We’re very proud to be featured on this list, and very grateful to the readers who voted for us.”
Condé Nast Traveler has a print readership of five million a month – not to mention 16 million unique users on its digital platforms. For 34 years, the magazine has released its “Readers’ Choice Awards,” surveying hundreds of thousands of readers from across the world on their favourite hotels, spas, cities, and, of course, resorts!
This is the first time Big White Ski Resort has graced Condé Nast’s Readers’ Choice awards, but not the first time Big White has been recognized by the prestigious brand! In the early 2010s, Condé Nast conducted a poll to determine the top 20 ski resorts in North America and Big White was rated "Best Snow in North America.” Other Canadian resorts to make the list were #1 Lake Louise, #3 Whistler Blackcomb, #4 Mont-Tremblant and #5 Le Massif de Charlevoix.
