Lace up your skates
If you get your timing right, you might just catch a breathtaking sunset while you strap up your skates and enjoy a hot chocolate by the fire. A truly Canadain experience. Big White's ice skating rink is only steps from the Happy Valley Lodge, with tasty grab & go food locations like The Caf and Sk8ters Bistro, but surrounded by the snow-covered trees and picturesque mountain views. You’ll feel as if you've been transported to a winter wonderland! Challenge the locals to a friendly game of pickup hockey, go for a leisurely stroll around the rink or teach the kids how to manoeuvre on skates. Enjoying the rink is FREE!

Tubing
Just over the bridge from the skating rink, you’ll see the brightly lit lanes of the tubing park! If you’re seeking an evening thrill, tubing is the perfect evening activity for friends and family of all ages. Family games nights at Happy Valley
While you’re warming up from your outdoor adventures, sit down for weekday evening family events at Happy Valley. Play an exciting game of Big White Bingo with surprising bonus rounds on Tuesday night, challenge other families to game show style games at Ultimate Family Games night on Wednesday nights, or enjoy some classic (and giant) board games like Battleship, giant playing cards, and Mario Kart on Friday evening. A great way to bond with your family and meet locals and visitors alike!
Kids Carnival
Thursday and Saturday nights at Big White are for the kids. Come see the Village Centre Mall transformed into Carnival Night! Popcorn, cotton candy, a bouncy castle, games, prizes and so much more, taking your kids to this carnival will win you parent of the year! The kids will make memories to cherish for years to come.
Table top s’mores
A gourmet take on a Canadian classic. Just above the market, at Globe Café and Tapas Bar you can order yourself a mini bonfire with hand-crafted marshmallows to roast yourself! All of the gooey S’mores goodness in the comfort and warmth of the bar.
