Craft and Country Mountain Festival

Get ready for a tantalizing adventure as Big White presents its annual Craft and Country Mountain Festival!

Join us in the heart of the village for an unforgettable celebration of craft brews, delicious ciders, and live music.

Sample the best of British Columbia's breweries and cideries as the Village comes alive with over 15 vendors serving up their finest creations. Purchase your event wristband for $30, which includes 5 drink tokens and a commemorative tasting mug. Alternatively, secure your event wristband online prior to your arrival and retrieve it from the village starting at 11:30 AM, ensuring you make the most of your experience at the event.

Additional sample tokens are available for $1.50 each, with token sales ending at 3:30 PM.

Last year's festival was a blast with fan-favorites like Okanagan Spring, Neighbourhood Brewing and BNA Brewing and this year is shaping up to be even more exciting with beer, cider, coolers and non-alcoholic options! Keep an eye out for our lineup announcement—it's going to be epic!

As you savor your drinks and soak in the vibrant atmosphere, don't forget to groove to the live music and let loose on the dance floor propelled by the sensational sounds of Kitty & The Rooster. With the majestic alpine scenery as your backdrop, it's the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountain vibe. Additionally, we will have craft vendors at the event, providing a diverse selection of artisanal products for attendees to peruse and appreciate.

Kitty & The Rooster

Prepare to be captivated by the electrifying duo, Kitty & The Rooster! This dynamic surf rock n’ roll sensation hails from Vancouver and is led by the talented Jodie Ponto on the stand-up cocktail drumkit, complemented by the mesmerizing guitar stylings of Noah Walker.

Renowned for their monumental sound, witty lyrics, and invigorating performances, Kitty & The Rooster guarantee an evening brimming with infectious energy and irresistible melodies.

Having graced stages nationwide and enchanted audiences at esteemed festivals like the Vancouver Folk Fest, Kitty & The Rooster have solidified their status as essential viewing in the music realm. Their opening act for Shannon & The Clams and the release of their album "One Gig Hard Drive" further attest to their groundbreaking impact on contemporary music.

Remember, 40 is the new 25! Bring two pieces of government-issued photo ID to purchase drink tokens and receive your event wristband. Kids and pets are welcome to join in the festivities and soak up the music and atmosphere in the Village.

Breweries & Cideries

Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. is a family-operated brewery located on the scenic Naramata Bench. Their unique feature is the self-farming of barley for brewing distinctly European-inspired beers. The brewery offers a welcoming, dog-friendly patio and is situated alongside the Kettle Valley Rail Trail, perfect for enjoying their award-winning craft beers. With a short drive from downtown Penticton, visitors can experience great beer, pizza, and spectacular views. The brewery emphasizes a connection with its land and the local community, making it a memorable destination for locals and tourists alike.
