First Tracks

Our "First Tracks" lesson gets you ahead of the crowd, up the chairlift before it opens to the public, allowing you time to enjoy the sunrise. Meet your instructor at 7:50 am; everyone then heads over to Ridge Rocket chairlift for an 8:00 am load. As the name describes, you will have "First Tracks" down a selected run; remember the mountain isn't open to everyone yet. We have organized for Ski Patrol to join us as a tail gunner, so safety is looked after.

The lesson provides 45 minutes of EXCLUSIVE access to the Ridge Rocket Express Chair and spans 1.5 hours of top-quality coaching from one of our experienced instructors. The First Tracks lesson should enable you to get two runs before it opens to the public. All this means there is potential for you to experience real "First Tracks" in untouched powder or perfectly-groomed corduroy. It's between you and your instructor what you want to work on, guided mileage, or learn how to ski powder on untracked slopes. It's your time on the mountain to enjoy what the morning has to offer and treat yourself to a memorable experience.

Details:

• Runs daily 8am to 930am 
• The minimum ability level is Level 5, confident skier or boarder on blue runs and comfortable riding the chair lift
• Must be booked in advance, no drop-ins
