Big White Ski Resort Celebrates Mother's Day with Charitable Initiative, Donating $4,000 to Mamas for Mamas
Leading up to this past Mother's Day, the resort implemented a special initiative to give back to the community. For every five-night booking made during this period, Big White Ski Resort and Big White Central Reservations pledged to donate up to $200 to Mamas for Mamas, a charity dedicated to supporting mothers and caregivers in need.
"We are incredibly proud to support Mamas for Mamas and the inspiring work they do for our community," said Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President of Big White Ski Resort. "This Mother's Day, we wanted to do something that truly encapsulates our commitment to the local community. We are deeply rooted in this region and want to give back in a meaningful way."
This initiative serves as a testament to Big White Ski Resort's dedication to the community it serves. As a local and Canadian-owned business, the resort continues to invest in initiatives that directly benefit those in need, fostering a sense of communal responsibility and connection.
"It's not just about offering outstanding winter sports experiences, but also about being a responsible and caring part of our community," Ballingall added. "Our commitment goes beyond our business operations. It extends to the wellbeing of the people who make this region truly special."
Big White Ski Resort and Big White Central Reservations would like to thank all the guests who booked during the campaign period, making this significant contribution to Mamas for Mamas possible. For more information about Big White Ski Resort and its commitment to the community, visit Giving Back.
