Big White Ski Resort is excited to announce the first ever, sanctioned Free Ride Team at Big White for the 2006/07 season. With the help of BC freestyle we will run a development level team this year. The season will officially start for the team on January 6, 2007. Training is 6 hours a day every Saturday and Sunday for ten weeks. There also additional training camps available; December 26-30, January 1-5, and March 19-23. The team will focus on half pipe, slope style, ski X and moguls.

Steve Lewandowski (CSIA III, CSIA Snow park Conductor, CSCF II, CFSA I) will be the head coach. “I am very excited to work with the CFSA in developing a strong program at Big White, to develop the athletes skills and promote fun and safety in the sport.”

The program is available to intermediate skiers and up at very competitive prices. The ten week program is $729 + tax per athlete and the training camps are available at a reduced rate of $219 + tax.
